Executive Bios

Katie Burnett, BS Civil Engineering and EIT Certificate holder, has almost 10 years experience in the field of civil and structural engineering. Her career has included work with architectural design, project management, structural design and marketing graphics. She brings a wealth of diverse experience together as she works with the major land development firms in the greater Baltimore/Washington area to locate and acquire the top technical talent they need. Katie is a graduate of George Washington University's School of Engineering and brings her education, diverse experience and genuine attention to detail to the role of finding just the right person for the client. Her ability to identify the key issues that underlie the client's needs, and to identify in the candidates she finds the skills that meet those needs, gives her a real edge. She prides herself on clear communications, attention to detail and genuine warmth as she speaks with clients and candidates. Katie constantly receives compliments from everyone she deals with as they realize that she puts their needs and well-being ahead of her own. Her background gives her a real advantage as she searches for candidates in the field of landscape architecture, land surveying and land development.

Katie is a native of Michigan who has spent her working life in the DC area. She is a sports enthusiast who comes from a blended family of celebrated athletes. Her step-brother is a fullback with the Detroit Lions. She currently volunteers with the CASA for Kids Organization assisting her local county Juvenile Court System as a Guardian ad Litem.
